Learning Specialist Consultations
(for Students 14-Adult)
In our tailored, 1:1 Learning Specialist Consultations, we help students adjust their study strategies as they work through classes that require more complex academic work. Sometimes students find that the strategies that worked well for them in the past may not work as well now, at a different stage in their academic journey. We support students as they refine their strategies to meet with greater success.
We regularly help students to:
Get started on assignments
Overcome procrastination
Manage time
Organize work
Track - and define - progress and success
Through empathic, 1:1 support and expert guidance, we help students understand how they think and learn best, how to refine their mindset, and how to become resilient, confident self-advocates.

Support for Parents
Parents often have questions about how to best support their student with meeting their goals and with becoming a stronger self-advocate. We offer consultations with parents of students enrolled in Learning Specialist Consultations to help with skill-building and to encourage self-efficacy and self-confidence. For parents of adult students 18 and older who would like to speak with us, we require a signed waiver from the student authorizing our communication.
up to 1 hour
